Miu Miu Fall/Winter 2012

Miu Miu's latest collection for fall/winter has really caught my attention, Miu Miu has been on my radar for a few seasons now as one of my favourite brands, known from the Prada fashion house, meaning that both labels are under the direction of the same creative director. There are several fashion houses that have started other brands under their names including Versace and Versus as well as Dolce & Gabanna and D&G, Roberto Cavalli and Just Cavalli. I would have to say Miu Miu is in my top 5 of favourite high fashion labels, I feel that Miuccia Prada is able to target the right demographic and let go and have fun with Miu Miu, every season you watch the models walk down the Miu Miu runway in something spectacular and knowing it will be very influential in the trends that season. I still gush over the amazing, 40's inspired, embroidered pieces from the Fall/Winter 2011 collection as well as those glitter booties.

This season an army of prints walked down the runway in tailored menswear inspired looks. I loved the interpretation of menswear for a woman and also, the combination of prints and colours, absolutely genius. I adore Miuccia Prada's work, i think she is one of the best when it comes to putting on a show and showcasing what she does best. Miu Miu always is a clear winner for me every season and I always look forward to the next. The innovation and creativity of her designs are truly astounding. I also love it when the look that Miranda Kerr wore on the catwalk, was delivered on set to a photo shoot for marie claire and I got to unpack it all and take care of it. It was the best.

Photo Of The Day; Edition 6

I love this look. I think it's a very clean and tailored version of grunge, I may just be saying this because of his tattoos and the surroundings, but besides that I think the look is great, i love the white shirt, i think the pocket and collar details are amazing and i love a good white shirt, i want it. I love the colour of these shorts, really nice.. also his hair, to die for. Wish i could pull this off... i probably could, hey haha need to find the right things. Always a fan of clean, streamlined, tailored menswear, I'll be doing a post on menswear soon actually, so be on the look out for that.

Bloom Forth - Photos Of The Day; Edition 5

For todays "Photo of the day", I decided to show an editoral instead of just one photo. "Bloom Forth" is an editorial shot by Lachlan Bailey for Vogue China's May Issue, featuring my favourite supermodel, Australian Abbey Lee Kershaw. Abbey Lee was missing during the Fall/Winter shows this season, due to a knee surgery but still managed to hold some amazing campaigns like Gucci S/S12, Gucci Flora Fragrance S/S12, Karl Lagerfeld S/S12, cK one Colour Cosmetics Campaign S/S12 and a Versace Yellow Diamond Fragrance Contract. Abbey Lee is the ultimate package and shows why in this stunning editorial showing off one of the biggest trends from the last season, florals. Looking stunning in looks from Giambattista Valli, Valentino, Dolce & Gabanna as well as Rodarte, Dior, Blugirl and Bottega Veneta. I love seeing Abbey Lee evolve and become even better every season, after all she is ranked 5th on models.com for the Top 50 models in the world and for the right reasons, this girl is amazing. Always a pleasure, Abbey Lee.

Photo Of The Day; Edition 4 & "Beyonce"

Rhianna is now in Australia and as I am a huge fan, i've been watching her updates and all the interviews she has done here, I think she is something special to say the least. Not only is she a pop superstar but she is one of the hottest women in my opinion, the attitude, the voice and that style. This is an example of Rihanna's ever evolving style, her hair, those sunglasses and that amazing blazer. This photo is perfection and now plastered on my facebook page, iPhone lock screen and now here. Rhi Rhi is looking fine as ever.

The simple make-up, slicked back hair and of course that amazing Miu Miu coat from the Fall/Winter 2011 collection, which is one of my favourite collections ever just takes this photo to another level. I think the minimalism of this photograph makes it what is it and that look into the camera is just simply perfect. Adore.

Like I mentioned in my last post, I will be posting a photo everyday that I love, that either inspires me or is just a beautiful fashion photo.

I think this photo is just divine. The casualness of this plus the added black heel makes it just perfection, I love the extra long jumper. This photo inspires me because it makes me think she is a fashion editor of some sort and she is looking at her mood/inspiration boards, working on her next shoot. Such elegance in this photo and one day I will be in her position.. hopefully. :)

Style Profile: Hanne Gaby Odiele

Hanne Gaby Odiele is a Belgian model, Hanne started her career in 2005, when she signed with Supreme Management in New York.

Hanne has been working ever since then, booking numerous runway shows and editorials as well as booking some of the industry's most lucrative campaigns. The first time i set eyes on Hanne, i was a fan of her model looks and her work and I have been following her career intently. One of the many spectacular characteristics that Hanne holds includes her amazing ability to style clothes, she has the most incredible street style I have ever seen, she has become known as a model to watch on the street style blogs. She takes risks and she always pulls them off effortlessly, so here are some of her street style looks that are my favourite, I narrowed it down to 13... because honestly there are so many looks that i love but I can't post them all, so these are the 13 looks that I adore the most out of the bunch.
